Tri-State Fire Protection Services was founded in 2019 with a clear goal: give commercial property owners and managers a fire protection company they can count on to show up, do the work right, and explain what they found.
From our home base at 228 Ridley Avenue in Folsom, PA, we serve businesses throughout Delaware County, Chester County, Philadelphia, and the surrounding communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Our clients include restaurants, schools, offices, warehouses, healthcare facilities, retail stores, municipal buildings, and industrial sites.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Kevin Kerns, Founder of Tri-State Fire Protection Services
Kevin Kerns has spent more than 25 years in emergency services in the suburban Philadelphia area, working as an EMT, firefighter, 911 dispatcher, and critical care liaison. That career gave him a firsthand view of what happens when safety equipment fails and when people are not prepared for an emergency.
In 2013, Kevin founded Tri-State Training, a guideline-compliant CPR and safety training company that has grown to serve the Philadelphia region and major cities across the country. His work in training showed him that preparing people is only half of the equation. The equipment in a building has to be ready too.
In 2019, Kevin launched Tri-State Fire Protection Services to give businesses the same level of reliability on the equipment side: inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs performed by a team that understands what is at stake.
As a father of three, Kevin's commitment to safety is personal. Today, he leads both companies with the same mission: make sure people and properties are ready before an emergency happens.
